Would you like to know more about the Bible? We offer studies that can be tailored to meet your needs. All are free. You can stop at any time. Let us know by using our Contact Us page. |
When you visit, you will be our guest. We hope you will meet some of the people and benefit from worshiping with us. There are no special sections or reserved seating when we assemble. There will be several publicly led prayers during a worship service allowing the congregation to offer thanks and ask for God’s blessings. We also will praise Him and speak to one another with psalms, hymns and spiritual songs. We believe that you will find the singing to be inspirational and spiritually uplifting. The Lord’s Supper is offered each Sunday. During this time there will be a prayer for the bread, and a plate of unleavened bread (that is, bread baked with no yeast) will be passed among the congregation reminding us of the body of Christ. Immediately following this, there will be a prayer for the cup, reminding us of the blood of Christ. Trays of individual small cups filled with grape juice are passed among the people. Members of the congregation will also take time to contribute to support the work of the church. If you are visiting with us, please feel comfortable just passing the collection plate to the next person. A portion of each worship period will be devoted to preaching from the Bible. At the end of the sermon, the preacher will usually offer a time for people to come forward to the front to express any spiritual need they have. Often this is a time when people may confess their faith and be baptized into Christ to become a part of his body ... to become a Christian. |
