Who We Are

Who We Are

We believe that Jesus Christ is the only Son of God and that from him comes God’s complete and final message for His Creation. Our goal is to love and forgive others as we have been forgiven. That love is not a feeling but an action that comes from appreciating the love that God has shown us through His mercy and grace displayed in the sacrifice of His Son on the cross.

We believe that the New Testament contains that final message. In that series of books we learn of the life, death and resurrection of Jesus. We can also discover how to live as a Christian, whether in the world or as part of a local church. We believe a church can learn how to honor God through the teachings of Jesus and His Apostles.

As a congregation, we believe our efforts should be directed toward reaching those without Christ, helping our members to grow in and defend their faith, and to help saints with benevolent care when they or their families cannot provide for them. We believe salvation and obedience are not separate issues, so we teach our members the importance of obeying God to please Him and give Him the glory.

If you attend one of our worship services, we ask you to test what we do in that service by God’s words found in the Bible. Though spirited worship is important, our first goal is to please God by honoring His word. More questions? Feel free to email or call us
